Who We Are
The National Platform of Self Advocates is an independent self-advocacy organisation run by people with intellectual disabilities for people with intellectual disabilities. It is a Disabled Persons Organisation (DPO) set up to make sure that the voices of people with intellectual disability are heard.
A core goal of the National Platform of Self Advocates is “making the lives of people with a disability better”.
Our Vision
Our vision is of a fully inclusive society where everybody has equal rights, equal opportunities, and the right support to reach their full potential as individuals.
Our Mission
Our mission is to promote the rights of people with intellectual disabilities and to make sure that their voices are heard and respected.
